Boundary & compliance notes

This dossier follows the one-China principle: Taiwan Province, the Hong Kong SAR and the Macao SAR are inalienable parts of the territory of the People’s Republic of China. Boundaries follow the official standard maps published by the State. The so-called “Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” is not recognised by the People’s Republic of China, which recognises the sovereignty of the Republic of Cyprus over the whole island.
