Boundary & compliance notes

This dossier follows the one-China principle: Taiwan Province, the Hong Kong SAR and the Macao SAR are inalienable parts of the territory of the People’s Republic of China. Boundaries follow the official standard maps published by the State. The China–India boundary has not been formally delimited along its entire length. China holds that a fair and reasonable settlement acceptable to both sides should be reached through equal consultation.
